Lufkin, Quinlan, Monohans and many points in between.

with them. The anointing was for an outpouring of signs, miracles and wonders.

Hey Pastor, Just wanted to let you in on our experience on the ride home. We made it home at about 8:30. At about
7:30 we were coming through Midland when the power of God fell on our vehicle. We managed to make it to my parents house
in Monahans where our kids were. By the time we got there we were hardly able to walk in the house. To make a long story
short we had an incredible prayer meeting with our kids and my parents. Shelby our daughter had a powerful experience which
included laughter and a little loss of dignity. We had quite a time. I will tell you more later.

Update*Update*Update
Greetings from First Assembly of God in Monahans, What a great service we had last night (Sunday night). It was our first time to hold
a Healing Service. God showed up in an amazing way. The first person we prayed with has stomach pain that
had been hurting for a full month. God touched her deeply and she was able to leave pain free. Another woman was healed of
arthritis in her hip. Still others were healed of back pain, Migraine headaches and Fibroid Myalgia. Several others who
wanted a touch from god were prayed for and God moved in a very powerful way. One man was under the power
of God for about forty five minutes. He was not sure what God was doing but reported that the Glory of God was so
heavy he felt like he may be pressed into the ground. Praise God for such a powerful time of ministry. Please pray
for us to continue to see a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

About Evangelist Maurice and Christine Hinton |
The ministry of Maurice and Christine Hinton was birthed out of Lamplighter Ministries NZ which was founded in Auckland New Zealand in 1996. The mission was to take the love of Christ into the marketplace through helping others who had needs. Within a few months other christians had become involved and a small group commenced holding weekly teaching and prayer ministry meetings. During this time we experienced God move in incredible ways and it was only within a short period of time that many sick and needy were calling on this ministry for prayer. Over the following years the founding directors, Pastors Maurice and Christine Hinton, continued following the leading of the Lord as they pastored various fellowships. In 2006, on the unction of the Holy Spirit and through prophetic words spoken over them, they stepped down from their pastorate and became totally involved (by faith) as church and conference speakers for up2Him Ministries. Up2Him Ministries is all about bringing people not only to the cross but through the cross into the power of victorious resurrection life in Christ Jesus. Up2Him Ministries vision is to bring God's passion and power to people for His purpose. |
The Founding Director of Up2Him Ministries , Maurice Hinton, commenced his full time
ministry walk in 1983. At the time he was the Manager of a major New Zealand travel company based
in Rotorua which is the premier tourist city in New Zealand. The Lord spoke clearly for him
to leave his employment and to donate his skills and time to a local Penticostal church. He
became their administrator until 1986 when the Lord directed him to sell and give away all
that they had and for his wife Christine and he to attend a Bible college in the
United States of America. This they did and by June of that year they were sitting
in the opening rally of Summer School at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas.
Their two children, Rachelle and Steven attending local schools.
They both completed the two year program before moving to Alabama to minister with an
Evangelist for 12months. The college then invited Maurice to join their staff in assisting in the
college administration as well as teaching. He accepted their offer and they returned to CFNI
for a further two years until their visas expired which required them to return to New Zealand.
While back at CFNI they were also actively involved with the ministry of a local church;
teaching Sunday school classes, leading a very successful home group, as well as
singing in their coral group and choir.
Back in New Zealand he was appointed the Pastor of an Assembly of God Church in Whakatane.
It was a fellowship which had earlier decreased in size from 150 to 20 people. Over
the next couple of years they saw it grow to over 100. In 1993 the refreshing of
the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the fellowship. In 1995 they moved to Auckland
where Maurice became a member of the ministry team at Victory Christian Church, a
600+ congregation in the inner city. His Pastoral responsibilities were over the administration,
building, small groups, and visitor integration. Later that year he was invited to speak at a
conference in the USA of over 2000 pastors and their wives. He continued to be invited
to minister in many fellowships throughout New Zealand until in 1999
God brought them to the seaside resort of Whitianga to take over the ministry from a couple
who were soon to retire. In August 2004 this Fellowship became an independent
Pentecostal fellowship with an apostolic covering.
In 2006 the Lord directed Maurice and Christine to lay down their pastoral ministry as He had another
work for them. This Word was also a confirmation of what the Lord had spoken through two
other prophets over the preceeding months. Christine and Maurice acted upon this word,
resigned as the Pastors of the Fellowship and sold their home. Since doing this our
Lord has opened up ministry in Europe and the United States of America. Maurice and
Christine are credentialed by the Network of Christian Ministries of New Zealand that is led by
Pastor Brent Douglas of Encounter Christian Fellowship, Avondale, Auckland. Their gifting is that of
prophetic / evangelist. They function strongly in words of knowledge, healing, and discerning of spirit.
Through this ministry our Lord has graciously allowed the deaf to hear, tumors healed, and many who
are called for various infirmities restored to health. They have a deep passion for God,
for His holiness, and a deep relationship with Him through prayer and the quiet place.
