Crusade #5 Southern Ireland
“My promises imparted in years gone by are not forgotten says the Lord,
though they be forgotten by the people. Indeed, from the South to the North of this land,
My Word shall roll forth in a torrent of revelation…” Cork 1966
Ireland is a nation who has rich heritage of great revivals.

Pastor Phil Corbett recently returned to minister in revival and healing services
in South Ireland. Accompanying Pastor Phil was Pastor Johnny Knight who ministered in music.

The first service was at Cork Community Church in downtown Cork. There was
such a great breakout of the Holy Spirit that Pastors Phil and Johnny were invited back
for an additional Sunday evening service.

“Revival is coming to this land, it is starting in the South.”
Rocrea 1966

The sick are prayed for each night and there were many testimonies of healings.
Pastor Phil Corbett was amazed when they passed a restaurant with his same last name
that was famous across Southern Ireland for it's fine food and it's ice coffee.

Pastor Phil in retrospect from the trip, mentioned that of the five trips to Ireland, this one was
the most productive. Everything that he had been advised would not happen did happen. Cork is known as the
"rebel county" and that people, pastors and churches never connected and were in competition with others. Though
we know that some may have been reluctant to embrace these services, we found other people tired
of being trapped behind their walls and traditions and inside the walls of their churches and were
hungry for more of the Lord. . The word God gave me was what David said, "through my Lord,
I can ...leap over the wall".

Services were held in the mountains at Mitchelstown at Gilgal Christian Centre. Pastors Frank and
Linda Gillespie along with their congregation were so eager to hear and experience all that Pastor Phil talked about.

Pastors and people gathered from all over the area to soak in the presence of God.
Intercessors from First Assembly of God in Corrigan send "Texas prayer flags" that have been prayed
over for many weeks, to be given to pastors and other intercessors in Ireland.

We are still thanking the Lord for the visit and for using Pastor Phil and Pastor
Johnny His servants to deposit the revival dynamic into our midst. We thank them for pouring
themselves out so well for the love of the people. Great and mighty movement in our love for
Jesus is showing fruit already the Holy Spirit is reviving a deeper love and response to
our beautiful Saviour, blessed be His name. We are thankful for their generous spirit to relationship
and unity, for rubbing up against us and imparting what they are carrying. God bless you my
dear brothers! Thanks Pastor Phil and Johnny so much for the way you poured yourself out
and for your friendship. We are still absorbing all that has happened and know
our church will never be the same.

Pastor Phil says "It is always a pleasure to go to Clonmel to worship with the
great congregation here where Denis and Gisela Coonan are the pastors".

Pastor Phil and Pastor Johnny were recently in Word of Life Church Clonmel. Right from the start of the service
we sensed such a presence of God and such freedom in the Spirit ,we received a powerful message
and time of ministry as people came to the front and were touched by the Holy Spirit and received
their healing and deliverance . Pastor Johnny saw in the Spirit as he looked out our window the" tsunami of
God's presence "coming and flooding this town, we had similar vision recently in our prayer time
for Ireland. Everybody was so encouraged and got a fresh vision again of the Father
heart of God and the intimacy with Jesus. They were a great blessing and encouragement to us all.

There was very little time for sightseeing but Pastors Phil and Johnny were able
to stop at the Cahir Castle in Cahir between services.

Thank you SO VERY MUCH for coming and encouraging the Irish to "keep pressing forward unto the goal".
To the Church in Corrigan, I want to say "Thank you so much for releasing Pastor Phil to come to Ireland.
He has already been an INCREDIBLE encouragement to us, and has held up the arms
of Pastors here. He has come for such a time as this".

What a privilege it was to travel with Pastor Phil and fulfill "Paul & Barnabas" duties while
ministering in the south of Ireland. The Lord assigned us a unique task as we ministered in
churches to believers and pastors. We arrived in Ireland not having a full ministry schedule. But that
enabled us to "go where the river would take us", and each place we went was ordained by
God. There is a fire of revival kindled in Ireland, long-prophesied, now being fulfilled. We were
able to throw a little fuel on and enjoy the warmth as we witnessed glorious worship, miracles
and a wonderful coming together of Spirit-filled believers. The highlight was the
Saint Patrick's Day meeting at the hotel in Carragaline. They had to bring in extras chairs twice!
The room was packed out with pastors and believers we had ministered to during the week,
as well as a number of "firstimers". The place was filled with electric anticipation...and we
were not disappointed! They may have been drinking in the pubs downstairs, but
in the upper meeting room (appropriately named THE KILN), we were drinking
in the new wine of the Holy Spirit! This has been one of the most powerful
and life-impacting experiences of my life!

You cannot go to Ireland without enjoying a traditional Irish breakfast which includes eggs,
bacon, sausage, tomatoes and of course, blood pudding. The two boys from Texas learned to eat blood pudding.

The beautiful countryside is always green which is why Ireland is called the Emerald Isle.

The tour of services came to a climax at the Carragaline Convention Center. This one night service
held on St. Patrick's Day was a St. Patrick's Day Outpouring Service. The Holy Spirit came down
powerfully and everyone was blessed. The service was concluded with a Texas Style "Fire Tunnel".
Above, Brid O'Sullivan was the organizer for the St. Patricks Day Service. Brid is a powerful intercessor who is
networking people and churches in Cork to pray for revival. Brid says that the service was so powerful that
she has already reserved the larger conference room for the St. Patrick's Day Outpouring in 2009.

This woman pictured above was one of many people that were healed. She testified that
she her stomach was severly enlarged and as the service began, she could hardly stand the pain.
God healed this woman and her stomach went back to normal. She was so thankful
and would not be stopped praising God.
The following are a few of the noteable prophesies concerning the coming revival in Ireland.
“My promises imparted in years gone by are not forgotten says the Lord,
though they be forgotten by the people. Indeed, from the South to the North of this land,
My Word shall roll forth in a torrent of revelation…” Cork 1966
“Ireland will have riots – and revival.”
Lisburn 1964
“Revival is coming to this land, it is starting in the South.”
Rocrea 1966
“To this province, terror is coming, but I will yet make this island a
pocket of blessing in the nations of the world.”
Prophesy in Belfast 1968
“The Word has gone forth from My mouth: I will establish a day of restoration.
Many shall be born in this land in a day of salvation.”
“I will unify a people in this land, in a work of your God
which will be of global proportions.”
Pastor Phil truly believes that the revival coming to Ireland is of global proportions.
