On May 11th and 12th, Pastor Phil Corbett and a group from his church in Corrigan, Texas visited our church. We had invited them to come as we became aware that God was up to something. I had never met Pastor Phil, other than talk to him on the phone a couple of times. I have been believing God for revival in Eagle Pass, Texas for over twenty years. We have had some visitations from God during the years but have not had a literal habitation. Their group came with great anticipation that God was going to do something and do something He did!
We had a powerful move of God both nights as we met with this group. Pastor Phil brought a word of encouragement the first night. During the ministry time many of our people were touched, encouraged, and received an impartation into their lives. The second night we received a word from God about receiving the baby that was about to be birthed into our church and our city. Another powerful time of ministry was released! The word was so relevant for the time we are in. Our season is truly here and we are excited about what God is about to release. This group has a heart for revival to be spred all over the State of Texas and even over this Nation. Revival is contagious. The greatest symptom is a burning hunger for God and for His Kingdom to come!
We are moving on with revival! We refuse to look back to the past and we have our eyes fixed on the Glory that lies ahead. Like Moses on the backside of the desert, we have found the burning bush and our love is being poured out on the Holy God that inhabits that bush! Our mandate is clear. "Declare His Glory among the nations; His wonders among the peoples." (Psalm 96:3)
